Eggs are on sale! We are well-stocked after the long break, so eggs are still at $6/dozen. However, nothing is older than 7 days when you receive it.
Around the Farm
After our long holiday pause, we’re back into the steady winter CSA rhythm again. This stretch between New Year’s and late winter is always quiet on the farm — the days are slowly getting longer, but the fields and hoophouses are still firmly in winter mode.
Most of what you’re eating right now was planted, harvested, or tucked away months ago, and we’re carefully managing those stores so they last through May.
Behind the scenes, we’ve shifted from harvest mode, where we spend most of our Summer and Fall, into planning mode: finalizing seed orders, mapping out greenhouse and field schedules, and imagining how everything will flow once the season ramps back up. It’s a strange in-between time — the farm looks sleepy, but the to-do lists are already growing.
